How it started
Every time I came back from a road trip, I’d find myself staring at photos on my phone, trying to hold onto those vibes. But a flat screen can’t capture the grit of the asphalt or the quiet of a roadside stop. I wanted something "real" for my desk—a way to take a piece of the journey home with me.
The Project
I have a friend who is an incredible model maker, and we decided to bring these tiny worlds to life. We didn't want the cheap, plastic-looking scenes you see everywhere. We wanted texture: the moss on a wall, the way light hits a guardrail, and the realistic "weathering" of a city street.
